Fact of the Day More Information This kaleidoscope in Nagoya, Japan is 150 feet tall. The Nagoya City Pavilion houses the kaleidoscope in the Earth Tower. The tower is a large, sleek, black, triangular pyramid cut at the top. Kaleidoscopic projections are shot 130 feet across the room onto a screen (Guinness). Wind and water are also involved in the performance. Images are projected by the sunlight that strategically enters through the triangular roof. The day's wind alters the display.
