Fact of the Day More Information The $300,000,000 project is an attempt to slow down the forces of global warming. Located in the Australian outback, the solar power tower was built on 25,000 acres of sheep farm.
Advantages of such a power plant include nonstop 24/7 power production. This is possible in that during the dark hours of the night power is stored. Also, winds are created by the power generated.
